Duration: Initially 1 month temporary then reviewed

Hours: Monday to Friday 8-5pm

Duties
Record and reconcile daily financial transactions using accounting software such as Xero
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid on time
Maintain organized records of financial documents, receipts, and statements for audit readiness
Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across all accounts
Support month-end closing activities by preparing reports and verifying data integrity
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial procedures
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments to optimize cash flow
Requirements
Proven experience working with accounting software, ideally Xero
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
Effective communication skills to clearly document and explain financial data
Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment is preferred
