Bookkeeper

Role: Bookkeeper

Location: Hereford

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours with flexible working (core hours 1000-1500)

Our client is seeking to appoint a Bookkeeper to take ownership of the firms Bookkeeping function

Duties for the Bookkeeper:

-maintain bookkeeping records for a portfolio of clients using standard

accounting software

-process invoices, bank reconciliations, journals and VAT returns

-assist with month and year end bookkeeping and management reporting

-support clients with day to day bookkeeping queries

-support with Accounts preparation

Experience for the Bookkeeper:

-accountancy Firm bookkeeping experience

-experience of bookkeeping software including cloud software

-organised with excellent attention to detail

-experience of double entry

-familiarity of VAT schemes

-experience of volume processing
