Are you a seasoned Grounds and Maintenance professional with a passion for the great outdoors and a knack for leading teams? Our client is seeking a dedicated Grounds/Maintenance Manager to take charge of their extensive site in Perthshire. This is a permanent role where you can make a real impact, bringing your expertise to a unique and rewarding environment.
What you will get in your new role A competitive salary of £34,000 per annum
A stable working week of 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Some weekend work, overtime, or on-call duties may be required to ensure the smooth operation of the site
The added benefit of accommodation provided a comfortable static caravan suitable for one person
Responsibilities in your new role as Grounds/Maintenance Manager As our Grounds/Maintenance Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring the impeccable upkeep and smooth operation of our client's site. Leading and supervising the grounds maintenance team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site
Planning and carrying out landscape maintenance programmes, including mowing, strimming and weeding
Safely operating, maintaining and overseeing the use of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance issues and areas requiring repair
Liaising with the Park Manager and external contractors to coordinate maintenance work
Ensuring full compliance with health and safety policies and procedures at all times
Managing the inventory of tools, equipment and maintenance materials
Scheduling and prioritise regular maintenance tasks to maximise efficiency
Supporting the continuous improvement of the site's outdoor spaces and overall presentation
Your personality, experience and qualifications You will have proven experience in landscaping maintenance, grounds repairs and team supervision. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to outdoor maintenance
Confident communicator with a good command of English
Passionate about maintaining high standards across outdoor environments
