Building Maintenance Officer needed in Bootle Paying £19.24 per hr ref OR110872 Full time hours on a temporarybasis Key Responsibilities Carry out regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and communal areas to identify repair and maintenance requirements.

Manage contractor performance, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Investigate maintenance issues and arrange appropriate repairs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and property-related regulations.
Monitor fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos, electrical, and gas safety compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.
Respond to emergency maintenance issues and coordinate remedial actions.
Assist with budget monitoring and procurement of maintenance services.
Liaise with residents, tenants, contractors, and colleagues to resolve maintenance concerns effectively.
Support asset management and planned improvement programmes.
