Building Surveyor (Commercial)

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major, long-term infrastructure project in Kent. The project provides an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work within a complex delivery environment, taking responsibility for the commercial management of their own packages while working closely with the wider project team. As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the successful commercial delivery of the project, including: Cost forecasting and financial reporting Identifying and managing commercial risk Providing commercial advice to the project team Monitoring project performance against budget Maintaining accurate commercial records Working closely with project delivery and operational teams We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor with: Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or heavy engineering Good knowledge of commercial management and contract administration Experience managing subcontractors Strong Excel and commercial reporting capabilities NEC experience would be advantageousThis is a strong opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to join a high-profile, long-term infrastructure programme with genuine scope for career progression.
