Business Development Manager - Design & Build Location: Leicestershire (Office-based with client travel) Salary: £45,000-£50,000 basic £70,000 OTE Benefits Company car Company pensionAbout the Role An established Design & Build business is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in commercial interiors, workplace fit-out, or the wider construction sector. This is a relationship-focused role centred on developing long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales. You will identify new opportunities, build trusted relationships with clients and industry professionals, and work closely with internal design, estimating and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions. Success in this role comes from understanding clients' businesses, identifying opportunities early, and becoming a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Build Long-Term Client Relationships Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients. Engage with occupiers, landlords, project managers, architects and consultants early in the project lifecycle. Understand clients' business objectives, workplace challenges and project requirements.
