Salary: £60,000 basic + Uncapped Commission (OTE £100,000+)
Yolk Recruitment is supporting a fast-growing technology consultancy in the search for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across the public sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused sales professional with experience selling technology or digital solutions into the public sector. You'll play a pivotal role in identifying and creating new business opportunities before formal procurement begins, building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and developing strategic partnerships that support continued growth.
The role offers a blend of new business development, strategic account growth and framework engagement, making it ideal for someone who enjoys consultative sales and influencing large-scale opportunities.
What you'll be doing
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new public sector opportunities before they enter formal procurement.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders including IT Directors, Heads of Digital, Chief Digital Officers and other key decision-makers.
- Take a consultative approach to understand customer challenges and position tailored technology solutions.
