Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager Inspire Resourcing are recruiting a Business Development Manager on behalf of a client based in Chesterfield. Main duties: * Inbound Sales Management,Handling and converting incoming enquiries * New Business Development, Identifying and securing new opportunities * Full Sales Cycle Ownership, Managing opportunities from enquiry to close * Proposal & Quotation Preparation, With support from internal technical teams * Relationship Building, Developing strong customer and internal relationships * CRM & Pipeline Management, Maintaining accurate records and forecasts * High‑Value Sales, Working on deals from £30k to £250k with varied sales cycles * Target Achievement, Meeting and exceeding revenue and margin goals Requirements for the Business Development Manager role: * Proven experience in business development, technical sales, or solution‑based selling * Strong track record of closing new business * Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles * Excellent commercial awareness and qualification skills * Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities * Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities * Motivated, resilient, and target‑driven Skills Required Skills * Product Management * Agile * Roadmapping * Stakeholders * Analytics * User Research Nice to Have * Technical Background * SQL * A/B Testing * UX * Pricing Business Development Manager Location: Chesterfield Salary: £40,000 - £49,999/annum
