Job Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through a consultative approach.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company targets and market opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging trends.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through to proposal and close.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, ensuring solutions are tailored to customer requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of agreed solutions and customer outcomes.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline performance, and forecast accuracy, reporting progress as required.
  • Attend meetings, networking events, and industry gatherings to strengthen brand presence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and lead generation activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, ideally within a B2B environment.
  • Experienced selling within national or large client links FM / Telecoms / Power / Drainage / Water / EV
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand customer challenges and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in presenting to decision-makers.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, including accurate forecasting.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of closing deals and managing commercial discussions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent in CRM systems and sales reporting to maintain pipeline visibility and performance tracking.
  • Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail when preparing proposals and documentation.
  • Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Sales training or certification (for example, a recognised sales qualification) is desirable.
  • Technical aptitude to quickly understand products/services and translate them into customer value.
