Business Development Manager North East Scotland Competitive Package Our client, a leading provider of logistics and freight solutions, is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across North East Scotland. This is a senior sales role focused on winning new business, developing key accounts and building long-term customer relationships. As such, we are specifically seeking candidates with a proven background in freight forwarding, logistics, transport or supply chain services sales. The Role Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the region Grow revenue within existing customer accounts Develop relationships with key decision-makers across multiple sectors Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and implementation Work closely with operational teams to deliver solutions that meet customer requirements Maintain a strong pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets Provide accurate sales forecasting and CRM updates About You Proven experience in a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or Commercial Manager role within logistics, freight forwarding, transport or supply chain services A strong track record of generating new business and growing customer accounts Experience selling logistics solutions rather than physical products Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills A commercial mindset with the ability to identify profitable opportunities The ability to work independently and manage a regional territory A full UK driving licence Package Competitive basic salary Attractive bonus structure Car allowance Pension and benefits package Long-term career development opportunities Brightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
