Business & IT Relationship Director

Are you a strategic relationship-builder who can bridge the gap between business and technology? Our specialty insurance client is looking for a Business Relationship Directorto join a leading specialist commercial insurer, acting as the trusted link between their Claims, Finance & Actuarial/Risk business areas and their IT & Operations function.

What you'll do:

• Be the go-to point of contact between senior business leaders and IT & Operations for strategy, innovation and service delivery
• Shape and influence Operations, IT and Facilities strategy in line with business goals
• Partner with leadership to identify high-value needs and build compelling business cases
• Lead cross-functional teams through solution delivery and issue resolution
• Own business budgets and drive smart, high-impact investment decisions
• Represent the business voice in technology conversations — and vice versa
• Deliver regular reporting and insight to senior stakeholders

What you'll bring:

• Strong understanding of specialty insurance products, operating models and business processes- non negotiable
• A blend of technology fluency and business acumen
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Experience in business partnering, business transformation or process management
• Project management / Agile experience preferred
