Business Travel Consultant

Business travel support agent - Required for this global travel organisation. You will be working from home after 2 weeks training in the office, Salary up to 40k + 5% bonus and great benefits. Experience wise, they are looking for 5 years travel industry experience, knowledge sabre,amadeus and galileo ideally, but 2 of the above would be fine , strong fares and ticketing experience, ideally a mix of corporate and leisure. This is a Thursday to Monday role. Weekdays working 12 noon to 8.30pm and Saturday and sunday 9am to 5.30pm

Business travel support agents duties

-Supporting the companies independent consultants who look after both corporate and leisure clients

-Actioning requests sent over to the helpdesk, such as issuing/reissuing and refunding complex airline tickets, help advisors with systems such as concur,Dolphin etc, help with ADMS, GDS issues, sabre. amadeus and galileo

-Assist new advisors with setup and run training sessions

-Manage the UK hotel inbox

-Support advisors with NDC requests

-Quality checking advisors bookings

Business travel support agents skills required

-Minimum 5 years business/leisure travel experience

-Excellent GDS knowledge

-Strong fares and ticketing knowledge

-Good British rail and European train knowledge xwzovoh

-Good knowledge of Concur

Additional information

-Hours 3 days during the week working around 12 noon to 8.30pm and Saturday and sunday 9am to 5.30pm, two days off during the week together
