Buyer Full time, permanent Location: Leeds/Bradford Salary: Negotiable Career development opportunities Further study support Key Responsibilities Improve quality, delivery, service performance and cost Source, screen, appoint and onboard new UK and overseas suppliers Support new product development Develop excellent supplier relationships Negotiate pricing, contracts and quotations Lead supplier meetings Contribute to engineering changes and strategic sourcing activities Develop and implement commodity purchasing strategies Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives Produce MI on all purchasing/supplier activities Collaborate with all teams to deliver purchasing objectives What We're Looking For A talented Direct Buyer with 3+ years in either manufacturing or engineering environments CIPS qualified or studying towards CIPS.
