Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join their engineering team based in Congleton. The Role As a CAD Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development and delivery of mechanical systems for the client's THP installations. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality designs focusing on structural steelwork, pressure vessels and piping systems. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings using SolidWorks 3D CAD software. Design pipework, structural steelwork and pressure vessels from engineering calculations and design data. Create and maintain 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings. Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), bolting schedules and assembly documentation. Interpret P&ID drawings and develop accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
