CAD Technician Our client, a market leader in the design, development, manufacture, and supply of Stainless-Steel containment storage solutions is currently seeking a CAD Technician to join their Design team. This is a full-time, permanent position, working 09:00 – 17:00, based in Eye, Suffolk. This is an opportunity for an ambitious and talented CAD Technician with good knowledge of 3D CAD design to gain invaluable training, knowledge, and experience within a friendly and supportive Design team. Essential Skills, Knowledge & Personal Attributes * Effective task management, time management and communication skills. * Proficient with Autodesk Inventor 3D, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software and AutoCAD packages. * Ability to work using own initiative to a high standard with excellent attention to detail whilst meeting deadlines. * Computer proficient skills including MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft TEAMS. * Strong manufacturing/engineering background with good engineering and technical knowledge. * Production of Bills of Materials. * ERP system knowledge would be beneficial. * Experience or knowledge of the use of iLogic, python, or similar coding would be beneficial. * Desirable – Degree/HND in an engineering/manufacturing qualification or equivalent work experience in a related role.
