Campervan Conversion Technician

Salary: From £33,280 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Workshop-based About the Role CNC Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing specialist vehicle conversion business, for an enthusiastic and skilled Campervan Conversion Technician to join their workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with a background in the motorhome, campervan or caravan industry to join a growing business where there is scope to develop your skills and take on additional responsibility. Key Responsibilities * Carry out campervan and vehicle conversion work to a high standard. * Diagnose, fault-find and resolve technical issues efficiently. * Work as part of a small, friendly and fast-paced workshop team. * Communicate professionally with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone. * Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. * Be willing to learn and develop new skills as the business grows. * Support colleagues across the workshop when required. Essential Skills & Experience * Previous experience working within the campervan, motorhome or caravan industry. * Practical experience of vehicle conversions and associated installation work. * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities. * Good communication and customer service skills. * A positive, hands-on approach to work. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role. Desirable Experience * Previous supervisory or people management experience. * Experience taking responsibility for workshop tasks or supporting junior team members. Additional Information * Occasional weekend working may be required. * This is a permanent, full-time, workshop-based position. * Applicants should be comfortable working in a hands-on environment and dealing directly with customers.
