Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) Day Opportunities are recruiting for:

A Programme Facilitator in the Callan / Slievenamon Service

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for Programme Facilitators to join our team in Callan.

  • Job Title: Programme Facilitator
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Parttime (35 hours per week)
  • Salary: €36,275 - €43,860 per annum

What you will need:

  • Hold a qualification at Level 6 or above on the QQI Framework - or equivalent qualification in Community/Health, Social Care or Education.
  • Have 2 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
  • Experience of running programmes for adults with an intellectual disability/autism.
  • An understanding of the New Directions model of day support services, as developed by the HSE.
  • Willingness to work in promoting the New Directions model within your role.
  • An ability to follow plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of the individuals supported.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • A full driver's licence and availability of own car is an essential requirement.
  • An ability to contribute towards the support, coaching, managing, motivating and developing a mixed workforce of volunteers and employees.
