Care Assistant / Support Worker

RGN (Registered General Nurse) Responsibilities * Assess patients' health conditions and plan nursing care. * Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. * Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and treatments. * Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care. * Maintain accurate patient records and care plans. * Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. * Support patient admissions and discharges. * Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families. * Ensure infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards are maintained. * Collect patient samples and perform basic clinical assessments. * Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when required. * Supervise healthcare assistants and support junior nursing staff. * Participate in training, audits, and continuous professional development. * Organize and prioritize workloads to deliver effective patient care. * Advocate for patients and ensure high standards of care are met.
