Care Assistants - Bangor

First Choice Recruitment are seeking x3 compassionate and reliable Care Workers to join our clients team in their Residential Home based in Bangor. The role is on a temporary basis, for 6 months with possible extension. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting older people and helping residents maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. 

Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities while promoting each resident's dignity, independence, and overall well-being. You will encourage and support participation in social and recreational activities, helping to create a positive and engaging environment. You will maintain accurate care records, promptly report any concerns, and work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team. At all times, you will adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. 

The role involves covering both day and night shifts and providing high-quality care and support to residents in a residential care setting. Rate of pay is £13.50-£17.50 per hour depending on shifts. 

What We Need From You:

• Previous experience in a care setting
• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
• Be willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
• A caring, respectful, and professional approach
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible day and night shifts
• Commitment to delivering high standards of care
