This is an exciting opportunity to shape a welcoming and inclusive environment where people with learning disabilities and autism can spend time outdoors, learn new skills, build confidence and take part in meaningful opportunities.As Care Farm Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the farm, supporting colleagues, volunteers and people we support to make the most of everything the farm has to offer. From animal care and horticulture to community activities and learning opportunities, you'll help create a place where people can thrive.What you'll be doingLeading the day-to-day running of the Care Farm and making sure it is safe, welcoming and well organised.Supporting and developing a team of colleagues and volunteers.Making sure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and animal welfare are maintained.Creating opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism to learn skills, build confidence and work towards their goals.Building positive relationships with families, local organisations, education providers and community groups.Managing budgets and resources responsibly.Looking for new ways to improve the farm and the experiences of the people who use it.What we're looking forYou might already be working as a Care Farm Manager, Farm Manager, Service Manager, Deputy Manager or Operations Manager.
