We are looking for full-time Care & Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Footprints, our specialist residential home for young people with physical disabilities and complex health needs. Set in a peaceful rural location in Stodmarsh, Canterbury, Footprints offers a warm, supportive and homely environment where young people are encouraged to build independence, enjoy new experiences and reach their full potential. As a Care & Support Worker, you will play an important part in the day-to-day lives of the young people we support. You will provide high-quality personal, emotional and practical care, while helping each young person feel safe, valued and empowered. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week on a rota basis. Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, so reliability and flexibility are important. Support young people with their personal care, health and wellbeing. • Create positive experiences through activities, outings, trips and holidays. • Build trusting relationships and provide emotional support tailored to each individual. • Help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-run home environment. • From your first day, you will receive comprehensive support, guidance and training to help you build confidence and develop your skills. Shift Patterns Footprints provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shift patterns may include: • Bank holidays are paid at double time. We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable and enthusiastic about supporting young people to enjoy life to the fullest. You should also hold a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or be willing to work towards this qualification. Footprints is in a semi-rural location and is not on a direct bus route, so please consider how you will travel to and from work. Ready to make every shift matter?
