Careers Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Skills and Employability Team for a part time  Careers Consultant within the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Careers Hub.This is a strategic consultancy and project management role focused on improving careers education across schools and colleges. Working with Headteachers, Principals, CEOs, Careers Leaders and employers, you will influence school improvement priorities, support the implementation of national careers education policy, and drive system-wide change that improves outcomes for young people.This is not a student-facing careers adviser role and does not involve providing one-to-one careers guidance. Instead, you will act as a trusted consultant to education leaders, managing a portfolio of schools and colleges, analysing performance data, leading improvement activity and building strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders.If you enjoy influencing senior leaders, managing complex projects, using data to drive improvement and creating lasting change across education systems, this could be the role for you.The vacancy is:Part Time 3 days Staffordshire Wide Role (22.5hrs per week) this post is fixed term until 31st August 2027.Join us and you’ll help shape the future for our education system and young people across Staffordshire.
