Support work isn’t just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. We are seeking a committed and compassionate carer to join a care team supporting a female adult in her 30s who lives at home with her partner on a small farmstead between Dereham and Watton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone’s life by providing both high-quality clinical care and holistic support for overall health and wellbeing.
She has complex care needs, including:
Catheter care
As a carer, you will support her not only with these medical needs but also with daily living activities, promoting independence and empowering her to live life to the fullest.
She is sociable, enjoys spending time in the community, and has a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, which is used for both social outings and medical appointments.
Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Rural setting near Dereham, Norfolk (driver essential)
Schedule: Flexibility required, working as part of a rota
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
*There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
*Flexible or contracted hours of work – full time positions available.
