They operate across the Home Counties, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and North London, delivering projects through two divisions: Small Works & Frameworks (up to £1m) and Main Contracts (up to £15m). They are now looking to appoint a Qualified Carpenter within their Small Works & Frameworks division, delivering projects up to £1m across frameworks and public sector contracts. The role requires experience across varied project types and refurbishment works, strong technical capability, commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively within a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities Carry out first and second fix carpentry and joinery to a high standard across varied project types Work safely and in line with site health and safety requirements at all times Liaise with the Working Foreman/Site Manager regarding progress and materials Maintain high standards of workmanship and take pride in the finished product Work flexibly as part of a close-knit site team Skills & Experience Experience across all project types and general refurbishment works Strong technical capability and commercial awareness Highly motivated and a strong team player Qualifications & Requirements In-date CSCS card supported by a recognised qualification (NVQ, HNC/HND, degree or equivalent) Full UK driving licence SSSTS First Aid at Work Required to wear company-issued uniform and PPE on site Security, Vetting & Right to Work Must have full right to work in the UK Must have been continuously resident in the UK for the past 5 years to meet client vetting requirements Must be willing to undertake DBS, BPSS or client-led security checks where required Must be willing to discuss any matters relevant to vetting as part of the process Must be able to maintain the vetting standards required for regulated sites Salary & Package £38,000 £42,000 depending on experience Company van + fuel card TPBN1_UKTJ
