Carpenter

I am looking for a Joiner to work on behalf of a local council in the South Shields area. The successful candidate will carry out reactive maintenance on domestic properties across the South Shields and wider area. Work will include hanging doors, replacing architraves and installing skirting and all associated 2nd fix maintenance whilst liaising with tenants. The Joiner will receive: £22 P/H Umbrella 6 - 8 week contract initially with the potential of an extension. The successful candidate will be expected to complete: Reactive maintenance on domestic properties 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week 2nd fix maintenance to a high standardI am really keen in speaking to anyone who has: City and Guilds or NVQ in carpentry or joinery CSCS card (ideal but not essential) Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to undertake the online course) Working at heights (or willingness to undertake the online course) Manual Handling (or willingness to undertake the online course) Abrasive Wheels (or willingness to undertake the online course)Interested?
