Carpenter, Joiner, Site Carpenter or Construction professional
who is ready to take their career in a different direction and use their industry experience to make a genuine difference. What you'll be doing ?? Deliver engaging practical and theory-based training in
Site Carpentry up to Level 3 ??? Develop learners' skills across areas including
framing, joisting, roofing and general site carpentry ?? Promote excellent
health & safety , including safe working at height and the correct use of tools and equipment ?? Support learners with literacy, numeracy and digital skills alongside their vocational training ?? Adapt your teaching to meet individual learning needs and help every learner achieve their potential ?? Prepare learners for employment by developing their
technical skills, confidence, teamwork and employability ?? Work closely with Learning Support Practitioners and prison colleagues to support learner development and rehabilitation ?? Complete assessments, ILPs, attendance records and qualification documentation What we're looking for We're looking for someone with strong
industry experience in site carpentry/construction
who can bring their practical knowledge to life in the classroom and workshop. You don't necessarily need previous experience of working in a prison or education environment
your industry expertise is what matters , and you'll be supported to develop within the role. You'll need: Strong experience in
Site Carpentry / Construction Relevant industry qualifications The ability to demonstrate and teach practical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills A genuine interest in supporting people to develop and progress A commitment to health, safety and professional standards Why join us?
