Overview

Catastrophic Injury Solicitor / NQ-3 PQE / London / £65,000 - £75,000 DOE. Join a leading Catastrophic Injury team handling high-value defendant personal injury claims for a prestigious insurer client base.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of multi-track defendant personal injury claims.
• Assist on high-value catastrophic injury matters involving employers’ liability, public liability and road traffic accidents with values ranging from £150,000 to over £20 million.
• Advise insurer and corporate clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy.
• Prepare cases for trial, draft pleadings and witness statements, and instruct experts and counsel.
• Negotiate settlements and gain exposure to complex personal injury litigation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Applications welcomed from Newly Qualified Solicitors through to 3 years’ PQE with experience in defendant personal injury litigation.
• Experience in employers’ liability, public liability or motor claims is advantageous.
• Strong technical ability, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for high-value PI litigation.
• Exceptional candidates with relevant training seat experience will be considered, including those moving from claimant to defendant work.
