3.5 Tonne Driver – Kelso, Scottish Borders People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver based in Kelso, Scottish Borders . This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work , and genuine potential for progression . This role would suit applicants that have worked in a role of Delivery Driver, Van Driver or Courier. You must undergo a DS/DBS check for this role. Shifts: Monday to Friday Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will receive: Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will include: Multi-drop deliveries (approximately 20–25 drops per day ) Loading and unloading boxes and packages Completing vehicle inspections and reporting faults Operating a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely and efficiently Communicating effectively with staff at delivery locations Adhering to food hygiene regulations Monitoring and maintaining correct refrigeration temperatures The skills required to be a 3.5 Tonne Driver are: Strong knowledge of vehicle operation and driving regulations Good knowledge of road networks and navigation tools Must undergo a DS/DBS check (good repute required) Experience driving commercial vehicles Basic food hygiene knowledge (training provided) Training: Internal food hygiene training Vehicle maintenance and safety training Compliance and regulatory training
