Catering Assistants (part time)

Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter Part Time | Term Time Only | Day Shifts We are currently recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join a busy catering team within an educational setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food service, and customer care. Working as part of a friendly team, you will support the day-to-day operation of a catering facility, helping to provide a quality food service to students, staff, and visitors. Monday to Friday Term time only Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen duties Operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are cleaned to a high standard Maintaining kitchen, servery, and dining areas in line with food hygiene requirements Monitoring and replenishing stock as required Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures Adhering to food safety, health and safety, and allergen management procedures Supporting the wider catering team with additional duties as required Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service environment Food Safety Certificate (Level xkybehq 2 or equivalent) Experience working within education, healthcare, or contract catering environments Consistent weekday working hours Term time schedule offering excellent work-life balance Ongoing training opportunities Immediate start available for the right candidateIf you're looking for a rewarding role within a professional catering environment, we'd love to hear from you.
