Chef de Partie - Busy Gastro Pub

We are looking for a Chef De Partie to join a busy gastro pub in Perthshire. A 13-bedroom pub located in the centre of town, this family run pub is both a local and tourist hot spot. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, that is reliable and willing to learn. The Role Preparing a mise on place for station as designated by senior chefs Maintain consistency in taste, portioning and timing as per company standards Cook and plate dishes according to the recipe and presentation laid out by the company Cleaning down the kitchen at close Adhering to company health and safety and food safety legislation Taking on responsibilities laid down by the senior chef What they need from you Excellent verbal and written communication skills Minimum 2 years in a similar role Organisational skills Good knowledge of baking, cooking and grilling techniques Ability to work under pressure and in a very fast-paced environment Ability to quickly learn new recipes Time management skills Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team environment What is on offer £14.50 - 15/hr approx. 48 hours a week Share of tips Accommodation off site, if required, for a subsidised monthly fee – all bills included in rate All meals included THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER SKILLED WORKER VISAS - ONLY CITIZENS WITH FULL UK RIGHT TO WORK SHOULD APPLY
