About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Chef Manager

to lead the catering service within our friendly residential care home in Lutterworth, supporting

24 residents

with nutritious, high-quality meals every day. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who is passionate about food, enjoys building relationships with residents, and is seeking a fantastic work-life balance with

no evening or weekend work .

Key Responsibilities

Plan and prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for residents. Cater for individual dietary requirements, allergies, and special nutritional needs. Manage food ordering, stock control, and kitchen budgets. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and care home regulations. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Lead and organise the day-to-day running of the kitchen. Build positive relationships with residents and staff, ensuring meal times are enjoyable and person-centred.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, or similar catering leadership role. Care home, healthcare, or residential setting experience is essential. Good knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and texture-modified meals. Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 qualification. Strong organisational and stock management skills. A caring, compassionate, and resident-focused approach. Reliability and the ability to work independently.
