Chef in a Dementia Nursing Home 40 Hours per week Woodbridge IP12 4JJ £16.50/hr Working in a truly stunning Elderly Dementia Nursing Home, for a market leading healthcare provider. You will be joining a fantastic UK Wide group of homes. This is a brilliant role for a fantastic company. Roles available: Permanent 40 hours per week (Guaranteed hours) £16.50 per hour Rated a superb 9.6 / 10 by CareHome Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week between 7:00am - 8pm 40 hours is 5 x 8 hour shifts. Alternative Weekends off. No Late Nights. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and prepare daily menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents. Prepare meals that are appetising, visually appealing and within budget. Maintain accurate records of food orders and inventory. Ensure that all food is stored, prepared, and served in a safe and hygienic manner. Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and service. Skills and Attributes: Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting. Knowledge of nutrition and the ability to develop menus that meet dietary requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. Education and Qualification: Food Hygiene Certified Level 2 willing to work towards Intermediate Food Hygiene qualifications. First Aid Certified. NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.
