Children’s Healthcare Assistant Burnley £14.00 - £17.50 per hour Full-Time & Part-Time Days & Nights Join Apollo Home Healthcare We are expanding our services across Burnley and the surrounding areas and are looking for caring and dedicated Children’s Healthcare Assistants to join our team. Your Role as a Children’s Healthcare Assistant As part of our team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children within their own homes. Your role will include: ✔ Supporting community activities and social outings ✔ Administering medication safely and effectively ✔ Providing personal care with dignity, respect, and compassion ✔ Supporting nutrition and hydration needs ✔ Promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life ✔ Monitoring and responding to health and support needs What You'll Need ✔ Minimum of 3 months’ care experience ✔ Experience with medication administration ✔ Confidence supporting with personal care and moving & handling ✔ Strong communication skills and a caring approach ✔ Full manual driving licence held for at least 3 years ✔ Comfortable working in a home where pets may be present Important Female applicants only – this is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the individual's care needs.
