Children's Services Manager (Temp to Perm)

Oakley Hill Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established local charity based in Newbury, in their search for a Children's Services Manager to lead and develop a valued service supporting children and young people with additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager, team leader or education professional looking to make a genuine difference. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis due to an urgent requirement, with the intention of becoming a permanent appointment for the right individual.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a children's service, ensuring safe, high-quality and person-centred support for the children and families who use it.

Working alongside a Deputy Manager, a team of staff and a dedicated group of volunteers, you will oversee service delivery, staffing, safeguarding, compliance and operational performance.

The service supports children and young people with a range of additional needs, including complex medical needs, disabilities and behavioural support requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing, supporting and developing a small team of staff and volunteers
• Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes of the children using the service
