Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Basingstoke From £18.05 per hour AM & PM Start times   Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on behalf of a world-leading distribution company based in Basingstoke. We are seeking reliable, motivated, and hardworking drivers who can follow a structured delivery schedule and delivering great customer service at each location. Overview of the role : Temp to perm role Various shift times – including weekend work Start times between 3am and 7:00pm Overtime after 8 hours and weekend hourly rate of £25.56 an hour Deliver stock to retail stores in a timely and safe manner Operate tail lifts and pallet trucks when required Accurately complete all delivery documentation Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects Maintain a positive working relationship with team members Comply with all driving regulations, including tachograph and working time rules Requirements for this Class 1 HGV Role: Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points) HGV Class 1 Licence with 6 months experience of driving CPC card and Digital Tacho Card If you are interested in this Class 1 Driver role please contact Charlotte at Pertemps Basingstoke branch
