Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Shifts: Monday to Friday - Full time - Temp to Perm Hours : 9am Start Pay Rate: Monday to Friday- £16.36ph PAYE Location: Durham, DH1 1TF Job Type: Ongoing The role: · Mainly collections / some deliveries · Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections / deliveries. .Minimal loading / unloading . Up to 10 stops per day · Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position. · Attend an on-site induction for the first shift. Requirements: · Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). · Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. · Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. · No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). · Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months. · Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward. · Full understanding of WTD legislation. · Excellent communication skills. · A safety-first mindset
