Class 1 Driver / CAT CE

We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) to join the team. FREE Onsite Refresher Training offered to Newly Qualified drivers. Hours: Days/Nights across Monday to Sunday with various start times available, average shift length of 12 hours. Thursday : £15.50 to £19.72 Friday: £16.46 to £20.52 Saturday: £16.76 to £21.91 Sunday: £19.55 to £23.12 Location: Job Type : Long term ongoing. Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels. Collect parcels from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.
