Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Were currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Driver to work with a well-established logisticscompany based in Chesterfield, S44. The work will involve delivery to retail and refrigerated distribution.

As a Class 1 Driver , youll be responsible for:
Trunking between depots and RDCs

Operating fridge or curtain-side trailers , depending on the load

Delivering a mix of chilled, frozen, and dry goods

Unloading pallets using a pump truck and operating a tail lift safely

Ensuring all paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately

Maintaining professional standards and excellent customer service at all times

Hours & Pay: Start Times: Flexible early morning and afternoon starts

Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)

Shift Length: 1012 hours per day

Pay Rate: £18.00ph PAYE

Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements: Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience

Experience with fridge or curtain-side trailers preferred

Ability to operate a pump truck and tail lift safely

Excellent communication and customer service skills
