Class 1 Driver

Class 1 Driver Colchester £15.77 per hour Pin Point Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 1 (C+E) Driver / Yard Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is a varied role offering a balance between driving and on-site yard duties, ideal for candidates who do not want to be on the road full-time. The Role Driving Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections Supporting operations within the yard when not driving Loading and unloading vehicles General yard duties as required Operating a forklift truck (full in-house training will be provided) Working Hours Variable hours contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week Drivers are currently working around 4854 hours per week, depending on workload Hours and days will fit in with the needs of the business Weekend work will be required Day work only no overnight stays When out driving, you can expect to be off-site for 810 hours Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence No more than 6 penalty points Flexible and reliable approach to work Willingness to undertake both driving and yard-based duties Positive attitude and team player Whats on Offer Full in-house forklift (FLT) training Stable, long-term opportunity within a food manufacturing environment A varied role combining driving and yard work Support from an experienced recruitment team Who This Role Suits This opportunity could be ideal for a newly qualified Class 1 driver looking to gain valuable experience, as well as experienced drivers seeking a more varied position.
