Job description:
Here at GXO Dagenham, we are currently recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement, RM9 6PR. If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday,
minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay , with start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00 with paid breaks! £49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week) £18.92 per hour Paid every four weeks

25days plus 8 bank holidays A Week off at Christmas (3 days from your holiday allocation) Full uniform provided, ongoing annual CPC training provided, Workplace pensionscheme. What youll do on a typical day: Single drop pallet deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Dagenham depot to retail and trade locations Strap down pallets of cement and secure the curtains before heading out on the road Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time What you need to succeed at GXO: Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards No more than 6 current penalty points We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
