Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team. Shifts: Monday to Friday Hours : Typically around 09:00am starts Pay Rate:

Durham, DH1 1TF (please note that the site will be relocating to DL1 3NL) Job Type : Temp to Perm The role: Mainly collections with some deliveries . Up to 10 stops per day . Minimal loading and unloading required Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections / deliveries. . Minimal loading / unloading Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
