Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of our client based in Fakenham. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work, a competitive £20 per hour rate and a minimum 10-hour daily guarantee. The role involves delivering a range of commercial goods using a curtainsider vehicle, including paper reels, timber and various building products. The Role Driving a Class 1 curtainsider vehicle Local and regional deliveries from the Fakenham area Occasional multi-drop deliveries Loading, securing and transporting a variety of goods safely Correctly using ratchet straps and other load-securing equipment Ensuring all loads are safely secured in accordance with regulations Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records Providing a professional and courteous service to customers Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects About You We are looking for drivers who are: Class 1 (C+E) qualified Experienced driving a curtainsider Confident using ratchet straps and securing loads Comfortable handling a variety of loads, including timber, paper reels and building materials Prepared to undertake occasional multi-drop work Reliable, punctual and professional Safety-conscious with a good understanding of drivers' hours and relevant legislation Customer-focused with good communication skills 💷 What We Offer £20.00 per hour Minimum 10 hours guaranteed per day Ongoing work with an established client Regular Class 1 driving opportunities Variety of work and loads Professional working environment Support from an experienced recruitment team Interested?
