Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver – Thrapston & Islip £17.45ph – £40.84ph Newly qualified drivers accepted! StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing Store delivery work in Thrapston & Islip. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for AM / Afternoon / Nights shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, and opportunities for full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE) - Monday to Friday AM -

£17.45 per hour plus accrued holiday - Monday to Friday PM -

£19.20 per hour plus accrued holiday - Monday to Friday Nights -

£20.94 per hour plus accrued holiday - Saturday & Sunday AM –

£22.68 per hour plus accrued holiday - Saturday & Sunday PM -

£24.95 per hour plus accrued holiday - Saturday & Sunday Nights -

£27.22 per hour plus accrued holiday - OT Rates up to

£40.84 - Guaranteed minimum pay 9 hours - Paid breaks - OT after 45 hours What the role involves You'll be completing Store deliveries and trunking work, typically

1–3 drops per shift , Shifts are typically

10–12 hours , including paid breaks. A

paid 1-day assessment and induction

is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions. Start times around the clock

Our ideal candidate • Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions) • Has good communication skills and a professional attitude • Is physically fit and well-presented
