- £23.53ph | Weekly Pay | Ongoing bookings | Immediate Starts Bedford StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) Night Drivers for ongoing lock and drop store deliveries work based in Bedford.
This is a great opportunity offering consistent long-term work, immediate starts, and competitive PAYE rates within a well-organised 7-day operation.
Drivers will benefit from a straightforward store delivery role with pre-loaded trailers and modern equipment.
Pay Rates (PAYE) • £21ph plus accrued holiday or, £23.53ph including holiday pay What the role involves You'll be completing lock and drop store deliveries with start times typically between 16:00-03:00 The operation runs 7 days per week, with shifts averaging 10–12 hours and 8 hours guaranteed per shift.
Immediate starts are available with ongoing weekly bookings.
Our ideal candidate • Holds a valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) for ideally 6 months • Has a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card • Has no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, IN, or DR offences) StaffCo Direct provides weekly pay, PPE, online driver portal access, pension scheme enrolment, ongoing support from a dedicated account team, and consistent long-term bookings.
