Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) Location: Bromsgrove Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour Job Type: Temp to Perm Opportunity Join a Well-Established Machine & Tool Rental Company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join a leading machine and tool rental company based in Bromsgrove. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing, Monday to Friday work with the potential to secure a permanent position. The role involves nationwide deliveries, including both depot-to-depot and site deliveries, while also providing driving support to various depots across the Midlands when required. Key Responsibilities * Carry out nationwide deliveries of machinery and tools * Complete both depot-to-depot and site deliveries * Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time * Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects * Complete delivery paperwork accurately * Comply with all driving legislation, tachograph regulations, and company procedures * Work closely with the Transport Manager to support depots across the Midlands * Opportunity to gain an IPAF licence Working Hours * Monday to Friday * Start time from 6:00am * Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on delivery schedules Requirements * Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence * Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Maximum of 6 penalty points * No DR, DD or IN endorsements * Good knowledge of UK road networks * Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach What's on Offer? * £16.50 per hour * Monday to Friday working – No weekends * Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate * Ongoing, stable work with a reputable company * Opportunity to gain an IPAF licence * Supportive working environment with long-term career prospects
