We're recruiting professional drivers based in Northampton to deliver palletised goods to major retail stores across the region, with routes reaching as far as Lowestoft . Pay & Rewards
£18.52 per hour (Days)
£27.78 per hour Overtime
Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed every shift
Overtime paid after 8 hours at 1.5x rate
Weekend shifts paid at 1.5x rate for drivers working 3+ days per week
Annual pay reviews The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for: Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods
Up to 8 store deliveries per shift
Using a tail lift to unload deliveries
Placing pallets safely in designated delivery zones
Providing a professional and customer-focused service Shifts Available We operate 7 days per week and have a range of shift patterns available.
Priority will be given to drivers who can work at least one weekend day . What We're Looking For To be considered, you'll need:
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Valid Driver CPC (DQC)
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience (or 1 year retail delivery experience)
No DD or DR convictions
Ability to complete:
1-day driving assessment
2-day paid induction Driver Benefits
