Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights) Location: North Weald, Epping, Essex, CM16 6AA Salary: £45,000 per annum (based on a 50-hour week) About the Role We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Drivers to join a well-established logistics operation based in North Weald, Essex. This is a permanent night shift position, offering consistent work, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to become part of a professional transport team. Shift Information * Night shifts * Start times between 7:00pm and 9:00pm * Based on a 50-hour working week * Guaranteed minimum 10 hours' pay per shift Salary & Benefits * £4,000 per annum (based on a 50-hour week) * Guaranteed minimum 10 hours' pay per shift * Consistent, ongoing work * Well-maintained modern fleet * Supportive and friendly transport team * Stable, long-term opportunity with a reputable employer The Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing scheduled trunking deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your duties will include: * Completing scheduled trunk runs to the Birmingham hub * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting * Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time * Completing all relevant paperwork accurately * Complying with all driver hours, tachograph and road transport regulations * Representing the company professionally at all times What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence * A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card * A valid Digital Tachograph Card * Previous Class 1 driving experience (preferred) * Good communication skills * A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic Apply Today If you're looking for a secure, full-time Class 1 driving role with consistent night work and excellent earning potential, we'd love to hear from you
