This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Class 1 driver looking for the security of a permanent role, guaranteed hours and regular night work .
The Role You will be responsible for trunking from depot to depot using a curtainsided vehicle.
The position is primarily driving based, but you will also be expected to maintain high professional standards throughout your shift.
Your duties will include: Depot-to-depot trunking Driving a Class 1 curtainsided vehicle Carrying out all required vehicle checks Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard Ensuring loads and the vehicle are safe and secure Communicating effectively with depot and transport teams Working in accordance with all relevant drivers' hours and road transport legislation Hours & Pay £17.95 per hour night rate £18.95 per hour overtime rate Guaranteed 46.25 hours per week Overtime available once your guaranteed 46.25 hours have been completed Permanent employment Driver Requirements To be considered for this position, you must: Be aged 25 or over Hold a valid Class 1 / CE licence Have a minimum of 24 months' Class 1 driving experience Have completed at least 30 days of driving within the last 90 days Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Be able to complete paperwork accurately and to a high standard Have excellent communication skills Be professional, reliable and safety conscious Benefits As well as a permanent position and guaranteed weekly hours, our client offers: One CPC course paid for each year Free on-site parking Free breakfasts Overtime opportunities Regular, secure work Guaranteed 46.25-hour working week This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking to move into a stable, permanent night driving position with guaranteed hours and additional earning potential through overtime. xwzovoh
