Class 1 Night Drivers
for a well-established transport and logistics company based in Wakefield. This role involves trunking to pallet network hubs using modern Euro 6, DVS-compliant vehicles. The client operates a fleet of curtain-sided, tail-lift and double-deck trailers and is looking to build a pool of reliable drivers for regular holiday and sickness cover. Drivers who perform well will become preferred drivers for future bookings. Key Responsibilities Complete trunking runs between distribution centres and pallet network hubs Carry out daily vehicle safety checks Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately Maintain excellent standards of vehicle care and road safety Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations Deliver a professional service at all times Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only) Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach Why Work With Recruit A Driver?
