A day in the life of a Class 1 Shunter Driver will involve moving trailers safely and efficiently around the yard, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle checks, following site procedures, and maintaining high health and safety standards at all times.

Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than 6 points on licence • Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is essential • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Reliable and punctual • Good communication skills • Flexible approach to shifts and duties • Able to follow health and safety procedures • Must work well as part of a team
